Teralba Bowling Club is a small, friendly Bowling Club that is situated on the banks of Cockle Creek, Lake Macquarie and is one of only a few local venues to have boat access right to the door.

We have a well maintained grass bowling green as well as a new synthetic green. We also cater for the social “barefoot bowlers”. 

Our club has an auditorium that is available for hire for those special occasions such as birthdays, engagements, weddings, presentation nights etc at very reasonable rates.

Functioning Bistro with delicious food. Dinner Thursday to Sunday 5pm to 8pm. Lunch Tuesday to Sunday 11:30am-2pm.

Courtesy bus available Thursday- Sunday from 4pm to late.

On October 4th 1948 the first meeting was called for the purpose of forming a Bowling Club.

In 1951 the first club singles were played, at the time the clubhouse had not been completed, so the guests were entertained in a large marquee. 

The early meetings were held in the school of arts hall at Teralba and the first meeting in the new clubhouse was on March 31st 1952. The first acting president was Harris Barnett.

On 28th September 1953 the inaugural meeting of the purposed Teralba Womens Bowling Club was held in the Teralba School of arts with 17 ladies & several men in attendance. 

The green was officially opened be Wal Young President of NDBA in 1961.
